Every Day Matters at Nido Cumberland Park

At Nido Early School Cumberland Park, we provide inclusive, high-quality early education that celebrates cultural diversity and community connection.

We view children as competent, capable citizens who express themselves through the 100 languages of learning. Their voices are valued, and every moment is an opportunity to learn together.

Families are the child’s first teachers. We build respectful, collaborative partnerships that honor their knowledge, culture, and feedback to deepen our shared learning journey.

Our educators are the second teachers. Reflective professionals who nurture secure relationships, advocate for children, and create purposeful experiences that support holistic development.

Our environments are the third teachers. Beautiful, engaging spaces that inspire curiosity, discovery, and belonging.

Together, we foster a culture of growth, collaboration, and care, creating a consistent, nurturing ‘home away from home’ for every child.

Changes to the Child Care Subsidy

The 3 Day Guarantee. What does it mean for your family enrolling in 2026?

From 5 January 2026, the Australian Government is updating the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) to guarantee at least 3 days of subsidised early childhood education and care per week. This means that all CCS-eligible families will receive at least 72 hours per fortnight (3 days/week) of subsidised childcare regardless of their work, study, or volunteering status.

Since Nido Early School is a government approved childcare provider, if you are eligible for CCS you will be entitled to the new 3 Day Child Care Subsidy Guarantee on your fees.
