Our Lara child care believes in supporting children to develop their social, emotional and physical skills. We offer a play-based learning approach where children are given uninterrupted time for play, plenty of freedom, a calm and relaxed environment, cooperative relationships, and our full attention. Our child-led learning programs nurture individuality, helping each child to move at their own pace, in their own way.
Our Lara child care is proud to provide stimulating, inclusive, and educational learning environments that are wheelchair-accessible and can accommodate children with allergies and special needs. We celebrate the multicultural backgrounds and special calendar events of our families to build positive and respectful relationships. We have strong community connections with our local Lara fire brigade, library and nursing home, which provides unique learning opportunities. The children are given the opportunity to extend their learning though the Phonics with Robo Reg program on Wednesdays that focusses on the foundations for reading and writing through activities that improve gross motor skills.
Our Lara Kindergarten program is led by a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher who is committed to getting your child set for their next big steps in school. We work in partnership with you to make their transition to school successful. Hello! My name is Renee Clifford and I’m the Service Manager of Busy Bees at Lara.
I started my journey in childcare in 2018, beginning as Service Administrator and moving up to Service Manager.
I love greeting all families and children each day as they arrive, having a chat and listening to all the stories the children love to share.
At Busy Bees at Lara, we strive to give children the best start to life, providing an environment that is warm, welcoming and inclusive to all cultures and nationalities. We love to share and celebrate events which are special and meaningful to all our families. I strive to achieve an environment which is inclusive, inviting, safe, fun and clean.
In my spare time, I’m a mum of 2 beautiful girls — 13 years old and 11 years old — and we love shopping, movies, baking, enjoying the beach and pool in summer, and spending time with our family and friends.
Assistant Service Manager
Hello, my name is Aditi Sharma and I am the 2IC at Busy Bees at Lara.
I have over 5 years of combined experience in the field of teaching and early childhood education. Prior to beginning my journey in early childhood, I worked as an English teacher in Japan, where I gained valuable experience in how children learn, interact, and express themselves. In Australia, I began my journey in early childhood education as a Trainee Educator and then moved through roles of Assistant Educator, Lead Educator, and now Assistant Service Manager.
The early years of a child’s life are very critical and busy. I strongly believe children’s learning is a continuous process and is interwoven through all developmental domains. My paramount priority each day is to ensure our space is inviting and engaging for your children, including and welcoming all cultures, religions, and beliefs around us. If a child feels connected and has a sense of belonging in our space, then they will be comfortable enough to explore and begin their learning journey.
When I’m not in the Centre, I’m most definitely busy with my daughter, baking my time away in the kitchen, or travelling around with my family. As a family, we love exploring and visiting new places and having good times with friends.
